CATERCO have been offering catering services across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Sydney for over 15 years (formally known as Cateraid). With the experience and operational capacity to cater for up to 1,000 guests for offsite events, food festivals, weddings, corporate functions, events and fundraisers CATERCO is a family owned established, trusted and professional company.

Setting the bench mark for private catering has been achieved by always ensuring our products are fresh, original and environmentally sustainable. We locally source products, services and staff wherever possible and continuously look for ways to improve. This is reflected in our menus through our use of locally sourced products and serviced by locally skilled staff. By always being innovative we can adapt to our customer requirements by always ensuring menus are current and on trend.

Key to the success of our business has been the approach we take to the planning and implementation of our marketing and operational strategies. Our approach to marketing, public relations and company positioning in the market place is based on our food philosophy and passion for service excellence.
Our senior management team has more than 75 years of combined experience in the catering and hospitality industry. Our corporate structure specifically incorporates full-time and dedicated contract specialists. We are headed up by our dedicated Business Manager Julia Barnes and Executive Chef, Gary Burns. Together they manage a team of dedicated chefs, kitchen staff and customer service team members.

We are Food Safety certified and deal with other certified suppliers. We ensure that we fully understand and scope the client’s quality expectations and strive to exceed these, in an appropriate way when we deliver.
We ensure our service provides value-for-money to meet the client’s expectations. At times, this involves considerable additional consultation and time spent designing menu options which we undertake to ensure this is met. Our menus are specifically designed to maximise profit and efficiency for the client.
We are committed to retaining our clients and ensure their satisfaction is maintained through the contract and further opportunities to support their catering goals are enabled. Staff provide a high level of customer service supported by regular team meeting discussions and training. Our staff have a minimum of five years hospitality service, ensuring a continuous, consistent high level of service.
To operate in the COVID 19 environment it is necessary to plan, stay ahead and be flexible in an ever-changing, and somewhat unpredictable, environment. There is now an even greater need to ensure levels of service are reflected in a heightened level of guest safety and wellbeing. Our business is COVID Safe Registered with the NSW Government and our staff have completed the COVID 19 Best Practice Training with their recognised industry body Restaurant & Catering NSW.
